Binni watched her small friend Arsonite as he tinkered with his latest experiments. “You very funny, Arh-sohn! You funny small peoples!”

The gnome tilted his head, trying to decipher her thick Draenei accent. “Indubitably, Binni! The effusiveness of your complimentary expulsions are most therapeutic, indeed!”

Binni, in turn, puzzled over his odd speech. “Eez good words, yes?”

Arson nodded, turning his attention back to the contraption on the work table. His bald head bobbed as he worked, as if he was carrying on an internal monologue. The few remaining strands of hair were singed, and he always smelled of smoke. Binni found him fascinating, and so unlike any of her fellow Draenei.

As she stretched out her long legs, happy to have a break from her work, she looked at her pet, Spot. The leopard was a constant reminder of the snowy lands Binni had come to love in her short time on Azeroth. The odd pair spent the afternoon in companionable silence, not needing words to enjoy each other’s company.
